Pye-Barker Fire & Safety in Raleigh, NC seeks an experienced Fire Sprinkler Foreman to lead installation teams on residential, commercial and industrial projects. You will read plans, supervise fitters and helpers, ensure compliance with codes, and manage materials and daily progress.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of pipefitting, plumbing regulations, and fire protection codes.
• Must hold valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to display lead capacity and supervise installation teams.
• Ability to interpret, apply, and explain applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and reports and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Delegate tasks to fitters, mechanics and assistants to meet deadlines.
• Install and test fire sprinkler systems in new or retrofit projects.

They manage specific installation projects assigned to them by the Fire Sprinkler Manager. Foremen oversee the technicians, installation fitters, and assistants working at the site.
