Job summary

Impact Fire Services, LLC in College Station, Texas is seeking an experienced Fire Protection Installer/Designer to oversee sprinkler system installation on industrial, commercial, and select residential projects from our local office.

You will interpret NFPA codes, perform hydraulic calculations, survey sites, and coordinate installation with other trades while helping manage costs and project budgets. Travel to project sites will be required as needed, roughly 50% locally.

Qualifications

• NICET certification is preferred but not required.
• Experience with fire sprinkler systems.
• General mechanical knowledge.
• Experience in fire protection installation or design.

Job description

This position is located out of our College Station, Texas office.

Oversee Fire Protection Systems installation for all types of new and existing projects. Projects will include Industrial, Commercial and some Residential. Can comprehend NFPA code, design/ installation methods, hydraulic calculations & material lists for fire sprinkler systems.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE /QUALIFICATIONS

• NICET certification preferred but not required

• General mechanical knowledge
• Experience in Fire Protection Installation or Design

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Demonstrated competency in verbal and written business communication skills.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with Company guidelines
• Able to complete documentation and administrative duties as necessary; proficient in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Office

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee installation labor on assigned projects

TRAVEL

• This position requires approximately 50% local travel.
