Summary
Responsible for laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing, and maintaining piping and piping systems, fixtures, sprinklers, and industrial processing systems.

Division 20, Charlotte

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

1. Installation of pipe fittings, hangers, couplings, and sprinklers per design plan and codes to properly protect building.
2. Completing all required weekly paperwork for CFP and as directed by the General Contractor.
3. Communicating with designer before making any design changes.
4. Addressing material shortages with the designer.
5. Producing red-line drawings for the designer.
6. Communicating project and schedule changes to Field Superintendent and Project Manager.
7. Attending project and coordination meetings as required.
8. Submitting daily progress reports to Field Superintendent and General Contractor.
9. Reporting water damage, injuries, or accidents immediately.
10. Training Fitters and Helpers on proper installation techniques.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED; 3-5 years related experience and/or training.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, email.

Other Requirements: Pre-employment drug screen, clean MVR; overtime may be required.
