Join Our Team as a Fire Sprinkler Foreman - Overnight!

Are you passionate about fire safety and looking to make a difference in your community? Service First Fire Sprinkler in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a dedicated Fire Sprinkler Foreman to join our team for our overnight shift. As a Fire Sprinkler Foreman, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and repairing fire sprinkler systems to ensure the safety of our clients' properties. This is an overnight position with frequent travel required.

Responsibilities:

• Install fire sprinkler systems according to blueprints and local codes
• Inspect fire sprinkler systems for proper functioning
• Repair and maintain fire sprinkler systems as needed
• Communicate with clients to explain work performed
• Lead team members to ensure timely completion of projects, including training apprentices
• Create and execute plans to complete projects on time
  • Pick and sort pipe, fittings, and hardware associated with fire sprinkler systems
  • Prepare sprinkler pipe; carries pipe, fittings, and hardware to jobsite
  • Load and/or unload trucks
  • Measure, cut, and groove or thread sprinkler pipe
  • Cut and drill penetrations through walls and floors for pipe
  • Climb ladders as needed for sprinkler pipe installation
  • Coordinate with other trades
• Maintain a clean jobsite
• Maintain vehicle, uniform, and tools as well as a clean jobsite

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience as a Fire Sprinkler Fitter
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Able to read blueprints
• Able to lift 50lbs or more
• Able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check
• NICET I in Service and Repair
• OSHA 10-Hour Certified
• Willing to continue education

Preferred:

• NICET II in Service and Repair
• OSHA 30-Hour Certified
• 6+ years experience as a Fire Sprinkler Fitter
