Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking a skilled Sprinkler Install Technician in Texas. The role involves independently installing sprinkler systems, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring compliance with NFPA standards. Travel to job sites is required, and you may mentor apprentices as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the fire and life safety industry.
• NICET Level I or above preferred.
• Strong understanding of fire sprinkler installation practices.
• Must have a clean driving record and active driver’s license (if driving is required).

Responsibilities

• Independently perform installation of fire sprinkler systems.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for installation projects.
• Use hand tools and installation equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Accurately and timely complete required documentation and installation reports.

The Sprinkler Install Technician is responsible for independently performing installation of fire sprinkler systems. This position requires demonstrated technical competency and the ability to complete standard jobs without direct supervision. The technician may be considered at a Journeyman level and is expected to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and company procedures.
