Job summary

Impact Fire Services is hiring for a Fire Sprinkler Fitter to join our growing team. The position involves installing fire sprinkler/standpipe systems and related equipment, with emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

We offer apprenticeship paths, ongoing training, competitive compensation, weekly pay, healthcare, paid time off, and a company-supported path to licensing. Must have a valid sprinkler fitter license and a clean driving record; 40-hour workweeks expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience installing fire sprinkler systems.
• Must possess a valid Sprinkler fitter license from the Oklahoma Board of Labor.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install fire sprinkler/standpipe systems and related equipment.
• Operate rigid power machine and thread and groove pipe.
• Accurately complete and return all field paperwork on time as required by general contractors and/or office supervisor.
• Attend and interact in all required job site meetings.
• Interface with customers to explain work, address questions and concerns clearly.
• Provide accurate and complete information on reports.
• Manage time on the job and driving to sites; supervise technicians as needed.
• Be able and ready to work 40 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities :

• Install fire sprinkler/standpipe systems and related equipment.

• Operate Rigid power machine and thread and groove pipe.

• Manage time including time on the job as well as time on road to job sites as well as managing the time of subordinate personnel.

• Be able and ready to work 40 hours per week.

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience installing fire sprinkler systems.

• Must POSSESS A VALID Sprinkler fitter license from the Oklahoma Board of Labor and be in good standing.

• Must possess a valid drivers’ license in addition to a good driving record.

Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
