Job summary

HCI Systems, Inc. is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Engineer to join our Ontario, CA team to design fire protection systems using AutoSprink and AutoCAD, perform hydraulic calculations, and coordinate with trades. The role requires 1-2 years fire sprinkler design experience; NICET preferred.

Office-based 5 days a week in Ontario, CA. Join a dynamic team focused on safety compliance and integrated design workflows.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in Fire Sprinkler Design is desired. Training will be provided for less experienced candidates.
• NICET Certification preferred but not required.
• Rare overnight travel may be required.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of NFPA standards, government fire safety standards, and FM Global datasheets.
• Proficient in Autodesk, AutoCAD, Revit, AutoSPRINK, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office software.
• Capable of performing hydraulic calculations and experience with 3D BIM coordination.

Overview

At HCI Systems, Inc. we're seeking a Fire Sprinkler Engineer to join our dynamic Ontario, CA team. If you are passionate about designing fire protection systems that enhance safety, meet specifications, and comply with city or county regulations, we want to hear from you. We utilize AutoSprink design software to create innovative designs and hydraulic calculations.

Designer Job Summary:Prepare layouts of sprinkler systems, detail drawings and diagrams. Plans prepared by designers include all views and dimensions necessary for the installation of a code compliant fire protection system.

Responsibilities

Pay Range

USD $25.00 - USD $35.00 /Hr.
