Job summary

HCI Systems, Inc. is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Engineer for our Ontario, CA team to design and hydraulically calculate sprinkler systems using AutoSprink, AutoCAD, Navisworks and Revit.

You will coordinate with other trades, prepare material stock lists, and collaborate with project managers to ensure code-compliant installations. This is an on-site, five-days-a-week role with travel rarely required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in Fire Sprinkler Design is desired.
• NICET Certification preferred but not required.
• Rare overnight travel may be required.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of NFPA standards, government fire safety standards, and FM Global datasheets.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Autodesk, AutoCAD, Revit, AutoSPRINK, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office software.
• Capable of performing hydraulic calculations and experience with 3D BIM coordination.

Overview

At HCI Systems, Inc. we're seeking a Fire Sprinkler Engineer to join our dynamic Ontario, CA team. If you are passionate about designing fire protection systems that enhance safety, meet specifications, and comply with city or county regulations, we want to hear from you. We utilize AutoSprink design software to create innovative designs and hydraulic calculations.

Designer Job Summary:Prepare layouts of sprinkler systems, detail drawings and diagrams. Plans prepared by designers include all views and dimensions necessary for the installation of a code compliant fire protection system.

Responsibilities
