Job summary

VSC Fire & Security is seeking a Sprinkler Designer II to design fire protection systems in Springfield, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience with AutoCAD or SprinkCAD and be capable of reviewing architectural drawings and conducting site surveys.

This full-time position offers excellent pay between $35.00 - $45.00 based on experience, along with benefits including paid vacation and health insurance options.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience with AutoCAD or SprinkCAD.
• Ability to review mechanical and architectural drawings.
• Autonomy in planning and organizing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and submit Fire Protection drawings and hydraulic calculations.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and building codes.
• Communicate with Design Manager about design and installation.
