You will design fire sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, healthcare, and educational facilities, ensuring compliance with NFPA standards and local codes. Responsibilities include designing systems and shop drawings, performing hydraulic calculations, coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors and PMs, reviewing plans, and conducting site visits as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of fire sprinkler design experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of NFPA 13 and related fire protection codes.
• Experience with hydraulic calculations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Design fire sprinkler systems and prepare shop drawings.
• Perform hydraulic calculations.
• Create designs using AutoCAD and other design software.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers.
• Review project plans, specifications, and code requirements.
• Conduct occasional site visits and field measurements.
• Support permitting, construction, and project closeout activities.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
