The Fire Sprinkler Designer is responsible for preparing detailed fire sprinkler system layouts and hydraulic calculations in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing architectural and structural plans, coordinating with sales, managers, engineers, and field teams to produce shop drawings, calculations, and submittals using CAD or other design software for city and general contractor approval.
The role also involves material listing, submittal preparation, supporting installation crews with design-related questions, and assisting with revisions and as-built documentation. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Fort Worth, TX.
