Job summary

Century Fire Protection Llc is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer in Charlotte, NC to create detailed designs from concept through approval. You will work with field teams to ensure install readiness and perform design calculations within project hours.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 3–6 years of related experience, NICET is a plus, and proficiency with AutoSPRINK, SprinkCAD/AutoCAD/HydroCAD and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–6 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• NICET certification is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce constructible designs.
• Experience with AutoSPRINK preferred; SprinkCAD, AutoCAD, or HydroCAD also a plus.
• Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Design fire sprinkler systems, including fire pumps, tanks, wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems.
• Create accurate designs that support efficient field installation.
• Submit designs for approval and obtain permits as required.
• Complete design calculations and ensure projects stay within allocated hours.
• Review work orders and procedures to determine project requirements.
• Prepare submittal packages for design approval and fabrication lists.

You’ll take projects from design through approval and work closely with our field teams to ensure systems are ready to be installed right.
