Job summary

Fireline Sprinkler, LLC is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Design Engineer to join our team in Wisconsin. You will design and coordinate fire sprinkler systems for diverse projects from concept through completion, ensuring NFPA compliance and customer satisfaction.

You will prepare drawings, calculations, and documentation while collaborating with project teams, AHJs, and contractors to deliver effective, code-compliant systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of fire sprinkler design experience.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and fire protection system design.
• Understanding of code compliance and local AHJ requirements.
• Proficiency with design tools including AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360 and related software.

Responsibilities

• Design fire sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential projects in accordance with NFPA standards, applicable codes, customer specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare shop drawings, hydraulic calculations, material lists, and fabrication details to support project execution and installation.
• Conduct site surveys, construction site reviews, and plan reviews to evaluate project requirements and develop effective design solutions.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, owners, field personnel, AHJs, and other trades to ensure code compliance and successful project delivery.
• Participate in project meetings, submit plans for approval, and provide technical support throughout the design and construction process.
• Prepare and submit drawings, calculations, permits, and related documentation while maintaining accurate project records.
• Compile foreman packages, complete as-built drawings, process closeout documentation, and assemble project turnover packages.
• Assist with fabrication planning and help resolve design and installation challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
