Job summary

Allied Fire Protection LP seeks a Sprinkler Construction Superintendent to lead field crews, plan manpower, and coordinate with designers on complex fire protection projects. You will supervise shop staff, review project surveys, and participate in contractor and safety meetings to ensure quality and compliance.

Ideal candidates have extensive fire protection knowledge, blueprint reading ability, and a willingness to obtain required licenses.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of fire protection and life safety systems and local codes.
• Ability to read fire protection blueprints accurately.
• RME-I license required or obtained within 6–12 months.
• AFSA training for foreman preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation of projects by field crews.
• Provide and schedule manpower for projects as needed.
• Assist designers with installation issues and ideas for future designs.
• Oversee shop personnel and delivery drivers.
• Assist with surveying projects for design purposes.
• Attend meetings with General Contractors as needed.
• Attend fire marshal acceptance tests as needed.
• Attend Allied’s weekly construction meetings.
• Assist Project Managers as needed.
• Provide material lists for changes and punch list items for project completions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
