Job description

Fire Equipment Inc. is currently seeking a Fire Sprinkler Install Apprentice. The Sprinkler Apprentice will work with our licensed technicians on upgrade and installation projects, test, inspect and ensure installations are up to code.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Work on assigned customer sites for installation and upgrade projects on fire sprinkler systems.
2. Work with wet and dry fire sprinkler systems, and fire pumps.
3. Load/unload materials at job site.
4. Stage and distribute work material to employees at job sites.
5. Perform on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs.

Qualifications

1. Interest in pursuing a career in the fire safety industry.
2. Ability to follow through on assigned tasks.
3. Good communication skills, verbal and written.
4. Reliable.
5. Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or carrying up to 75lbs.
6. Basic computer skills.

Minimum Requirements

1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
2. Valid Drivers License.
