Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is hiring a Sprinkler Install Support Technician in Vermont. You will assist with the installation of fire sprinkler systems, work under direct supervision, and help learn industry standards, safety procedures, and company protocols.

Travel to job sites is required and you will support documentation and reporting as directed. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and hands-on learning in a dynamic field environment.

Qualifications

The Sprinkler Install Support Technician assists in the installation of fire sprinkler systems. The Support Technician works under direct supervision and assists with basic tasks while learning industry standards, safety procedures, and company protocols.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with installation of fire sprinkler systems.
• Use hand tools and equipment under direct supervision.
• Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Observe and learn proper installation techniques.
• Support documentation and reporting processes as directed.
• Work collaboratively with team members on active job sites.
• Perform tasks as directed and does not independently perform jobs.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Education/Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Other Duties

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Work performed in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.
• Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites.
