VSC Fire & Security in Panama City, Florida is seeking a dedicated Inspector to inspect and test fire sprinkler systems, backflow assemblies, and fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA 25 & 72 and local codes. The role requires precise documentation, adherence to safety standards, and reliable transport to site locations.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience inspecting fire sprinklers and integrated systems.
• Licensure per state and local requirements.
• Inspect projects to monitor compliance with building/safety codes and NFPA/state/local codes.
• Knowledge of inspection and testing chemical suppression systems.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
• Eagerness for professional development and growth.
• Ability to pass various background checks.
• Reliable transportation, valid State Driver's License for company vehicle use.
• Desirable: experience in construction/electrical; ability to read drawings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test the installation and service of fire sprinkler systems, backflow prevention assemblies, and fire alarm systems per NFPA 25 & 72 and other applicable codes.
• Maintain proper Risk Management and Safety procedures on all job sites per VSC policies.
