VSC Fire & Security in Panama City, FL is seeking candidates for the position of Inspection Trainee. Starting pay ranges from $18.00 to $28.00 per hour based on experience, with opportunities for training and advancement as you gain certifications.

You will assist with service, inspection and testing of fire sprinkler and integrated life-safety systems under supervision, and you’ll follow safety policies on every job site.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in inspections of fire sprinklers and integrated systems.
• Obtain necessary certifications within 6 months of employment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
• Eagerness for professional development and growth.
• Background checks pass.
• Reliable transportation and a valid State Driver's License.
• Desirable: experience in construction or electrical industry.
• Ability to read and comprehend drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the service, inspection and testing of fire sprinkler, clean agent, backflow assembly, and integrated systems under supervision.
• Maintain proper Risk Management and Safety procedures on all job sites per VSC policies.
