Job summary

VSC Fire & Security in Myrtle Beach, SC, is seeking an Inspection Sales professional to drive service agreements for fire sprinklers, backflow testing, fire alarm systems, and related maintenance.

Three to five years of contract sales experience in fire protection, plus strong prospecting, negotiation and knowledge of codes (NFPA 72), are required; NICET certification is a plus, and company benefits include a generous car allowance and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Three to five (3-5) years of experience in contract sales relating to fire sprinklers or integrated systems.
• Demonstrated sales experience with strong prospecting skills, proven history of successful sales and contract negotiation.
• In-depth knowledge of installation and maintenance of fire protection systems and related technologies.
• Knowledge of state and local codes, NFPA 72, ADA and AHJ governing the location of work geography.
• Strong record keeping, documentation and safety policy enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Estimates and sells service agreements on fire sprinklers, backflow testing, fire alarm systems and related maintenance agreements.
• Coordinate activities including costs for installation, estimating, parts/materials, design time and labor hours.
