Job summary

Elko County School District is seeking a Part-Time Spring Creek High School Fire Science and EMT Program Coordinator for the 2026-27 school year. The role will implement and monitor High School CTE programs, coordinate instructors, and liaise with industry partners across Spring Creek, Elko, and Wells High Schools.

The position reports to the site administrator and requires coordinating schedules, maintaining records, and ensuring credentialed outcomes for students.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be able to acquire a Nevada teaching license issued by the Nevada Department of Education or substitute license.
• Ability to instruct in a classroom setting and guide student learning.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and evaluate Fire/EMS Department Cadet Program to meet standards.
• Prepare course schedules ensuring instructor and resource availability.
• Liaise with industry partners to ensure programs of study are followed.
• Monitor program compliance and educator needs for improvement.
• Collect and analyze data to develop the program and implement changes.
• Maintain records and ensure students earn industry credentials.
