Job summary

24hrsafetyllc is seeking a Fire Extinguisher Technician to inspect, repair and test extinguishers at customer sites. You will dismantle, replace worn parts, recharge with approved materials, and assist in safety inspections, with on-call and travel as required.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma, Texas Type B Fire Extinguisher License, and a TWIC card, plus a valid driver’s license. 3+ months of service experience preferred; NFPA-10 compliance is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Texas Type B Fire Extinguisher License required.
• TWIC Card and valid driver’s license.
• 1+ year preferred; 3+ months service experience acceptable.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and test fire extinguishers using hand tools and monitoring devices.
• Dismantle extinguishers, inspect mechanical parts, extinguishing agents, and expelling means; replace worn parts.
• Clean and recharge extinguishers with approved materials.
• Assist in fire safety inspection and on-site duties.
• Work conditions include lifting heavy objects, on-call, weekends and travel as needed.
