Requirements include high school diploma or GED, experience in BIW or related industry, and ability to obtain security clearance. Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills are essential for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Maintains expert knowledge of safety procedures and audits.
• Leads safety training and ensures compliance across hulls/areas.
• Communicates with management and mechanics on safety and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain expert knowledge in Hot Work, PPE, 5 Safety Absolutes and safety procedures.
• Perform audits and manage safety metrics reports weekly.
• Coordinate hot work with Safety Lab and escalate non-compliances to management.
• Attend safety meetings and communicate issues to Hull/Area management.
