Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Fire Protection Sprinkler Fitter to install and test automatic fire suppression systems in our new construction division in Richmond, VA. The role focuses on interpreting drawings, mounting piping components, and ensuring leak-free operation.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets drawings and specifications to determine layout requirements.
• Must interpret blueprints and architectural drawings.
• Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets drawings and specifications to determine layout requirements.
• Installs clamps, brackets and hangers to support piping systems and sprinkler and fire protection equipment.
• Connects piping system to water mains, tanks, pumps, and control equipment.
• Tests system for leaks using air or liquid pressure equipment.
• Trains and directs the day-to-day work of a helper.
• Maintains documentation for completed work.
