Job summary

Allied Fire Protection is seeking an Inspector to perform inspections of sprinkler, alarm, extinguisher, hood, and special hazard systems across sites in Texas. The role emphasizes NFPA standards, licensing (RME-I, FAL, FEL-A, B-PAT), and leadership of large inspections.

A sign-on bonus of $2,500 is offered. The candidate will hold NICET level for the trade and a current Texas license, with ability to work overtime, travel as needed, and mentor junior technicians.

Qualifications

• Hold NICET level for the trade and applicable/current Texas Department of Insurance license.
• Strong understanding of materials, tools, equipment, and procedures used in the installation process, plus working knowledge of NFPA standards.
• Excellent documentation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect sprinkler systems (wet, dry, pumps, pre-action, deluge, antifreeze loops, backflows) and related components.
• Inspect alarm systems and related components and maintain NFPA knowledge.
• Inspect extinguisher, hood, and special hazard systems and ensure compliance with licenses.
• Mentor and lead technicians on licensing and quality.
• Maintain safety, complete paperwork timely, and ensure customer satisfaction.
