Job Title: Fire Protection Inspector - Pump Runs

The primary function of this role is to perform NFPA based inspections of water-based fire systems, fire alarm systems, and fire extinguishers. The goal is to grow inspection revenues while maintaining profits, satisfying customer requirements, and staying NFPA compliant.

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer development, quality work, and knowledge of NFPA codes. Travel to customer sites will be necessary.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

1. Perform NFPA 25 weekly & monthly fire pump runs.
2. Perform basic troubleshooting of fire pumps.
3. Monitor and ensure progress and completion of all assigned tasks.
4. Complete and submit work tickets and inspection reports promptly.
5. Self-schedule daily inspections.
6. Upsell company capabilities to new and existing customers.
7. Perform inspections from man lifts at elevations of 30 to 40 feet, as necessary.

Qualifications:

To succeed, candidates must perform essential duties satisfactorily. Requirements include:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Vocational or trade school is a plus.
• Mechanical skills, troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, lifts.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to obtain certifications, including NICET.
• Lift minimum of 35 pounds.

Computer Skills:

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
