Job summary

Symons Fire Protection, Inc. seeks a dependable inspection professional to inspect fire sprinkler and fire alarm/low voltage systems across Southern California.

You will perform inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance in line with NFPA 25 and NFPA 72, and coordinate with customers to keep buildings safe and compliant. The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to learn Company systems like ServiceTrade and The Compliance Engine.

Qualifications

• Experience in fire protection inspection or related trade is preferred.
• Must read, write, and speak English well; able to complete reports.
• Willingness to learn NFPA standards and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect Fire Sprinkler Systems: Perform inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of water-based fire protection systems.
• Inspect Fire Alarm Systems: Inspect and test fire alarm and signaling systems and devices.
• Identify Deficiencies: Document and communicate system deficiencies requiring attention.
• Complete Reports: Prepare AES 2.1 inspection reports and submit documentation.
• Represent Symons: Communicate professionally with customers to explain findings.
