Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect installations for fire code violations and compliance.
• Monitor conditions involving receipt/shipment of hazardous materials.
• Review operations and processes (receiving, storage, welding, painting).
• Assess construction plans to ensure fire protection installation compliance.
• Provide Basic Life Support and CPR/defibrillation when needed.
• Serve on Hazardous Materials Response Team for spills control.
• Perform hazard and risk assessments during incidents.
• Survey incidents to identify materials and behaviour of containers.
• Occasionally perform firefighting duties during emergencies.
