This job involves performing NFPA-based inspections of water-based fire systems and fire alarm systems, with the goal to grow inspection revenues while maintaining profits, customer satisfaction, and NFPA compliance.

It requires working in a fast-paced environment, traveling to customer sites, and demonstrating knowledge of NFPA codes related to fire systems.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting of wet-based fire systems and communicate repairs to owners and service managers.
• Conduct inspections from elevated positions (man lifts at 30-40 feet).
• Perform annual inspections on domestic and fire backflows.
• Monitor progress and complete all assigned tasks.
• Submit work tickets and inspection reports promptly.
• Manage daily inspection schedules independently.

Qualifications:

• Experience with NFPA 25 inspections on various fire protection systems.
• High school diploma or GED; vocational/trade schooling is a plus.
• Knowledge of fire protection system operation, with licenses or certifications like NICET Level II preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, and lifts.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Physical ability to lift at least 35 pounds.

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
