Job summary

The National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA) invites motivated students to join as summer interns at NFSA Headquarters, Linthicum Heights, MD. You will support senior engineers, learn about water-based fire protection systems, and gain exposure to code development and standards processes.

Expect hands-on experience with fire sprinkler components, mentorship from seasoned professionals, and opportunities to participate in NFSA events and trainings, with a schedule from June 1, 2027 to August 6,

Qualifications

• Attitude of taking initiative, enthusiasm, eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in providing technical support to members through writing informal code interpretations (NFSA EOD Program).
• Participating in NFSA events and programs.
• Assist with side‑by‑side burn demonstrations and trailer set‑up.
• Participate in NFSA’s training opportunities including Layout Technician Pathway program.
