Parsons is hiring an experienced Fire Alarm Technician/Engineer passionate about infrastructure projects that shape our community. In this role, you will complete various complex engineering assignments, applying engineering techniques and coordinating within your discipline. You will utilize advanced engineering techniques and reviews, including CAE (computer-aided engineering) and CAD (computer-aided design) applications. Willingness to travel or relocate to supplier, client, or construction sites is expected.

Responsibilities:

  • Extract engineering information from CAD drawings.
  • Complete assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials for procurement and construction.
  • Interface frequently with other engineering disciplines and departments.
  • Prepare detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.
  • Review supplier drawing submittals and perform technical bid analyses.
  • Provide technical guidance to CAD designers/drafters, designers, and junior engineers on projects.
  • Advise senior management on engineering-related matters as needed.
  • Perform other relevant responsibilities as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; 8+ years of relevant experience preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in CAD and other engineering-related PC software is required.
  • NICET Certification.

Note: Local candidates are preferred as there is no relocation or per diem assistance.

Salary Range: $86,700.00 - $176,600.00
