Job summary

Jensen Hughes is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer in Phoenix to work on a major semiconductor facility project. The role covers building code consulting, fire protection systems, and strategy development, coordinating with design teams and authorities having jurisdiction.

The ideal candidate brings a solid fire protection engineering background, code consulting experience, and strong analytical and communication skills to deliver effective safety solutions on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in code consulting and developing performance-based strategies in a project design environment.
• Experience in developing building code concepts and equivalencies, conducting building plan reviews, and conducting field reviews/inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform fire and life safety code consulting tasks related to Group H-5 semiconductor facilities.
• Assist with the development of alternate methods of design and/or code modification submittals.
• Assist with hazardous materials consulting activities.
• Perform site surveys.
• Assist with fire and life safety system inspection and testing activities.
• Coordinate closely with design teams and authorities having jurisdiction.
• Contribute to complex, high-impact project delivery.
