Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 5–10 years' experience in a specialized discipline.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.
• Experience working with local county/state clients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project requirements and develop accurate submittal reports.
• Analyze surveys, maps, drawings, blueprints, and geologic data to plan tasks.
• Perform design computations.
• Design projects in accordance with client specifications and guidelines.
• Prepare and compile contract plans, specifications and estimates.
• Attend meetings with clients and assist taking meeting minutes.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and understand how they fit into the project and design.
• Quality review of project design per Project Management Plan.
• Provide technical oversight and guidance within the department.
