Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree in Fire Protection Engineering.
• Zero to three years of related work experience or equivalent.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic calculations and design engineering system components.
• Gather information for design decisions.
• Assist in preparing designs, drawings, and reports.
• Verify compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Skills

Basic knowledge of building and fire codes and NFPA standards

Strong technical writing skills

Education
