Job summary

S.A. Comunale Co., Inc. is seeking a Fire Protection System designer to create layouts and hydraulic calculations for projects across industrial, commercial, and residential sectors.

You will perform layout using AutoCad and HydraCad, and generate pipe lists for precast/fabrication while collaborating with the design team. The ideal candidate has experience in fire protection design and BIM coordination, with proficiency in AutoCad/HydraCad and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Education/experience as described: Associate/Technical/Business discipline preferred or equivalent.
• NICET certification preferred.
• Experience in Fire Protection Design Field is required.
• AutoCad and/or HydraCad experience is required.
• Ability to multi‑task and manage multiple duties.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout of fire sprinkler systems.
• BIM modeling for coordination.
• Hydraulic calculations and pipe lists for fabrication.
• Field surveying and site data collection.
• Coordination between trades and vendors.
• Other duties assigned.
