Job Description
DUTIES (SPECIFIC FOR THE POSTING)
Provide design engineering staff augmentation support. Primary responsibilities include engineering task analysis, walk-downs, design development, and the creation of design output documents such as Location Plans, Connection Diagrams, Conduit / Block Diagrams, Logic Diagrams, Panel Detail Drawings, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, and Battery Loading Calculations, all in accordance with consensus codes and standards. Provide technical support to site construction teams, start-up and testing personnel, suppliers, or subcontractors. Prepare Data Sheets, Statements of Work, Procurement and Design Build Specifications, and Purchase Requisitions.
Required Qualifications: Education & Experience
Education: Ph.D. in applicable science or engineering discipline with 5+ years of experience, OR a Master's degree with 8+ years of experience, OR a Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience.

Candidate must demonstrate ten (10) years of recent design experience, including at least four (4) years in Fire Alarm, Detection, and Signaling Design. Must have general knowledge of electrical/control systems, connection diagrams, layout plans, logic diagrams, panel layout details, P&ID's, and battery loading calculations.
