Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform fire inspections of businesses and institutions to identify hazards and enforce fire codes.
  • Review development plans and site plans for fire code compliance and access considerations.
  • Instruct community members on fire safety and code requirements.
  • Prepare invoices for inspections and collect fees.
  • Maintain records and pre-fire plans; report departmental activities.
  • Participate in emergency response for fire suppression and EMS.
