As a Preventative Maintenance Agreement Service Sales Representative, you will promote and sell service agreements for commercial building systems, including fire alarm, suppression, sprinkler, security, sound, communication, and inspections. Success in this role means understanding customer needs, building trust, developing effective sales strategies, and closing enough business to meet sales plan objectives while maintaining strong long-term customer relationships.
Own your pipeline with accountability, safety, and integrity by keeping commitments, following through on customer needs, and representing Johnson Controls professionally in every interaction. Stay close to the work and focus on what matters by listening carefully, asking the right questions, and translating customer challenges into clear service solutions. Use a disciplined, repeatable sales process to qualify prospects, schedule follow-up activity, prepare proposals, and move opportunities forward consistently. Improve every day through candor and problem-solving by tracking results, reviewing competitive activity, and refining your approach based on what you learn in the field. HIRING SALARY RANGE: $46,400-69,800 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account volume and margin on a project, quarterly, and annual basis. This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
