The Hiller Companies, LLC in Mobile, Alabama is seeking a Welder to join our fire protection and safety systems manufacturing team. You will join and repair components, interpret drawings, and install fire suppression system parts per engineered specs.

Candidates should be proficient with arc, MIG, and TIG welding, perform inspections, and troubleshoot issues, working in flat to overhead positions and coordinating with project teams.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate welding equipment and interpret technical drawings.
• Perform visual inspections and non-destructive testing to verify weld quality.
• Identify and troubleshoot welding defects and issues.
• Communicate effectively with team members and project managers.

Responsabilités

• Operate welding equipment and machinery, such as arc welders, MIG welders, TIG welders.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols for proper welds.
• Perform visual inspections and non-destructive testing to verify weld quality.
• Correct defects or imperfections in welds as needed.
• Work in positions including flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure proper alignment of systems.
• Communicate with team to achieve project goals.
• Identify and troubleshoot welding issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
