Job summary

Century Fire Protection is seeking an Assist Lead Installer/Foreman to install and service fire detection, alarm, security, and life safety systems in new and existing buildings. You will work on low voltage components, test and calibrate devices, and coordinate with customers and suppliers.

A GED/HS diploma and 1–2 years of construction or alarm system experience are preferred. Headquartered in Duluth, GA, Century Fire Protection operates 20+ offices across the Southeast, including Florida, and

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; 1-2 years construction experience preferred.
Basic installation experience or training with alarm or security systems or other electrical systems.
Ability to read wiring diagrams and install low voltage components.

Responsibilities

Assist with installation of low voltage components such as smoke detectors, pull stations, cameras, and door contacts.
Drill holes for wiring in wall studs, joists, ceilings, floors, etc.
Feed or pull cables through access holes, roof spaces, wall cavities, conduit, bridle rings, etc.
Mount and test control panels; set device addresses and adjust sensitivity as needed.
Test and repair circuits and sensors per wiring specs and testing procedures.
Establish and maintain good working relationships with co-workers, customers, and suppliers.
