Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire and Safety in Louisiana is seeking a Sales Estimator to contract profitable work and build new accounts while nurturing existing relationships. The role requires understanding construction documents, data entry, and coordinating with sales staff to produce accurate estimates.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of estimating experience, proficiency with AutoSprink or SprinkCAD is a plus, and strong Microsoft Office skills. Travel to client sites and trade shows may be required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of estimating experience is required.
• Technically proficient in applicable design standards and codes.
• Drafting knowledge/experience with AutoSprink or SprinkCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand construction fundamentals and read construction documents.
• Prepare estimates using Excel and Word; set up folders and data entry.
• Collaborate with sales staff to complete estimates accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain project portals and pre-qualification forms; manage trade show presence.
