Job summary

W&M Fire Protection Services in Hawthorne, NY is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Inspector to perform inspections, testing, and documentation of fire protection systems in accordance with NFPA standards and local code requirements. What You'll Do

As a Fire Sprinkler Inspector, you'll perform inspections, testing, and documentation of fire protection systems in accordance with NFPA standards and local code requirements.

  Preferred Certifications

  • NICET Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
  • FDNY Certificate of Fitness
  • Nassau County Type 2, S12, and S13 Certifications
  • Fire Pump, Backflow, or other related certifications

  Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in commercial, industrial, and residential environments
  • Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent walking, stair climbing, and standing throughout the day
  • Travel between customer locations, with occasional overnight travel
