Salary: Up to $25/hour until fully trained, then transitioning to 100% incentive pay.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect fire extinguishers, fire hoses, emergency and exit lighting, and kitchen hood suppression systems.
• Service and maintain fire extinguishers, hoses, and lighting systems as needed.
• Sell new fire safety products and systems to customers.
• Ensure customers understand the products and systems maintained on their property.
• Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and practices.
• Maintain a willingness to learn continuously.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and core values.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements:

• One year of route sales experience.
• Pass drug and background screenings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• State licensing and vendor certifications.
• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One to three years of fire life safety experience.
• Experience in route sales or related sales roles.
• Fire extinguisher vendor certifications.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to safely and effectively use hand and power tools.
• Proficiency with cell phones and related apps.
• Lift and carry at least 50 lbs.; push and pull over 75 lbs.
• Climb ladders up to 12 feet and operate man lifts.
• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, temperature fluctuations, and loud noises.
• Must be able to talk, hear, sit, stand, walk, and use hands for handling and reaching.

Hiring Process:

In addition to an interview, new hires must complete the I-9 Verification form within three days of hire to verify identity and employment eligibility, as required by the U.S. Department of Justice and Immigration and Naturalization Services. Employment eligibility will also be verified via E-Verify. Background checks, including criminal records and DMV checks, are mandatory. Substance abuse testing through urinalysis is required if an employment offer is extended.
