Job summary

Impact Fire Services, LLC is seeking a Fire Technician in New Jersey to perform inspections, service and sale of fire suppression components including extinguishers and emergency lighting. You will work to meet weekly service and productivity goals while ensuring safety and professionalism.

The role requires learning applicable fire codes, maintaining a clean vehicle, and obtaining licensing and certification required by National, State and Local codes.

The Technician will be responsible for providing inspections, selling, and servicing a variety of fire suppression components including fire extinguishers, emergency lights and other fire products in a professional and timely manner. The Technician will be expected to meet weekly service and productivity goals. Continued employment is contingent on successfully obtaining licensing and certification required by National, State and Local codes. The Technician is also responsible for maintaining a clean, well-organized vehicle and ensuring a safe environment for his/herself, co-workers and customers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Applicable experience either in the fire protection industry or the commercial customer service business in some capacity
• An electrical background or a basic level of comfort and knowledge with electrical work
• An ability to provide services across multiple product lines
