Job summary

Everus in Las Vegas is seeking a dedicated technician to inspect, transport, repair and service fire extinguishers using hand tools, hydrostatic test equipment, and monitoring devices.

Responsibilities include hydro-testing high pressure cylinders, dismantling extinguishers for inspection, replacing worn parts, cleaning and recharging units, and driving as needed. Additional duties may be assigned, with emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to inspect, transport, repair and service extinguishers.
• Must be able to drive.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, transport, repair, and service fire extinguishers using hand tools, hydrostatic test equipment, and monitoring devices.
• Hydro-test high pressure cylinders.
• Dismantle extinguishers and examine mechanical parts, extinguishing agents, and expelling means; replaces worn or damaged parts.
• Clean extinguishers and recharge them with approved materials.
• This position is required to drive.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
