911 Emergency Communications is seeking fire dispatchers for Tenaha, TX to coordinate responses to fires, rescues, and hazardous conditions. You will receive incident information, alert appropriate resources, and maintain clear radio communication with responding crews.

A high school diploma or GED is commonly required; some positions may require fire dispatch training or related coursework. Overtime and irregular schedules can apply depending on incidents.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor radio channels, unit availability, and incident status.
• Relay information about occupants, hazards, and changing conditions.
• Process requests for additional resources through established procedures.
• Coordinate mutual-aid communications when assigned.
• Record dispatch times, unit movements, and significant incident updates.
