Job summary

City of Surprise is seeking a staff member to support the Fire Department in purchasing, inventory, and warehouse operations, including obtaining bids, ordering, receiving, and distributing firefighting equipment and supplies.

The role also coordinates building and grounds maintenance for the Fire Department and maintains the department inventory within the sanctioned software system.

Qualifications

• An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.

Responsibilities

• Support Fire Department purchasing, warehouse and maintenance operations including obtaining bids, ordering, receiving, storing, distributing and inventory of station and firefighting equipment and supplies.
• Coordinate building and grounds maintenance for the Fire Department.
• Maintain department inventory in the sanctioned software system.
