Lockheed Martin in Dahlgren, VA is seeking an Aegis Weapon System (AWS) Instructor with an FCS MK99 background to support international programs, schoolhouse and waterfront training, and curricula updates. We are seeking a talented and experienced Aegis Weapon System (AWS) Instructor with an FCS MK99 background to support the Aegis International Programs team and conduct schoolhouse and waterfront training. Support a multi-instructor and developer workforce providing instruction and curricula updates for our International Program customers and in support of schoolhouse and shipboard training. Assist in the development of new training materials, revise existing curricula, and support simulation virtual courseware updates and deployment. Deliver formal training for internal and external customers, conduct instructor evaluations, and submit training reports. The work for this position will be in Dahlgren, VA. Travel opportunities to support our international customers in locations such as Japan, Australia, Norway, Canada and South Korea may also be available. US Citizenship is required and successful candidate must have a final DoD Secret Security Clearance to qualify. Plans, develops, and implements technical product training programs for customers, and/or employees, and field support personnel. Technical training may include standard, repeatable modules, customized and new product modules. Obtains information from customer and technical organizations, engineering, software and product requirements to prepare training programs; prepares lesson plans and training materials; designs product demonstrations; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids. Conducts training sessions, product demonstrations, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. May utilize trainers with technical expertise. May administer tests. Continuously revises lesson plans to ensure course material reflect product features, meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date. May include military trainers.

Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00
