Job summary

Montgomerypersonnel is seeking a skilled mechanic for the maintenance and repair of fire apparatus in Montgomery, Alabama. The ideal candidate should have a journeyman level of experience, particularly in diagnosing issues and conducting repairs on engines and various systems of fire vehicles.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience as a fire apparatus mechanic.
• Experience must include at least two years of apprenticeship.
• Must possess a valid Alabama driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems on fire apparatus and perform repairs.
• Perform general and preventive maintenance on fire pumps.
• Supervised by the Garage Superintendent.
