Job summary

Manatal seeks experienced Fire Alarm Technicians focused on installation and programming, with a strong record of reliability and safety. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with Notifier, Gamewell, or Kidde systems and be capable of working in a team environment.

Responsibilities include responding to service requests, troubleshooting, programming low voltage systems, and collaborating with owners and contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and programming fire alarm systems.
• Notifer certification a plus and preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot, read schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Respond to scheduled and emergency service requests, performing troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of system equipment.
• Program fire alarm systems or have experience with programming low voltage systems such as fire alarm and nurse call systems.
• Research alternatives to resolve problems and keep stakeholders updated on progress.
• Communicate effectively with contractors and building owners.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, software programs, schematics, and manuals related to the role.
• Keep management informed of project status through communication.
• Complete required paperwork and provide on-site customer support.
• Preference for candidates able to obtain certification within one year of hire.
• Experience with Notifier, FireLite, Edwards/EST, Kidde, Bosch, Gamewell and other life safety systems preferred.
• Participate in on-call program.
