Job summary

Qualifications

• NICET 1 in Fire Alarm preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of low voltage/fire alarm systems and installation.
• Ability to read installation and system manuals.
• Ability to read blueprints and building plans.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and inspect fire alarm systems.
• Use blueprints or building plans to install system based on building layout.
• Maintain and update schematics and documentation.
• Run conduit, pull wire and install circuits for low voltage electrical systems.
• Repair electronic components using test equipment and replacement parts.
• Ensure systems comply with electrical and fire codes.
• Explain and demonstrate system function to end users.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate with staff and customers.
